Jon and I met Amanda back in 2020 when she was my best friends photographer, she went out of her way at the wedding to take some photos of us there and since then I knew she’d be the one I used for our wedding someday. She did both our engagement photos and wedding, which she was able to accommodate us needing to push our wedding day back a year due to me getting pregnant with our daughter and also talked me through all the anxiety I had with needing to do so. She is one of the kindest souls we have met and she really inspires us with how dedicated she is about her work and you can tell it’s not a job to her, it’s because she enjoys what she does. I had known for a long time, well before I got engaged, that I needed Amanda as our wedding photographer. So naturally it took me all of a week after getting engaged to reach out to Amanda - she was the first vendor we ever booked. And let’s be honest, if Amanda didn’t have our date available I would have moved it just to ensure we had her for our big day. I was drawn to her stunning photos, her ability to capture so much love and authenticity instead of staged photos. Little did I know we were about to become life long friends. Our first FaceTime call was effortless; we felt as if we had known Amanda for years and hadn’t met an hour prior. Every interaction - every phone call, email, text or in person - was easy and fun. Choosing Amanda to document our day was one of the best decisions we made during the wedding planning process!! My fiance and I just took our engagement photos with Amanda and let me tell you what a joy she is! We connected with her right off the bat and could tell what an incredible person she was. She was so patient waiting for snow finally to arise for our photos, so we had to postpone like 4 or 5 times! When the day finally came around, it was easy as one two three. Amanda allowed George and i to be ourselves and really express our love through the photos! She went right to work editing our photos and within less then a week she gave us a sneak peak of a couple of them and then literally a week later we had the final product of our engagement photos. WE ARE IN LOVE WITH EACH AND EVERY ONE! Thank you Amanda i can't wait for our wedding photos with you next year.
Amanda is a one of a kind photographer, we had to postpone our wedding due to Covid and out of no where she asked if we wanted a new engagement shoot which of course we did since we had new save the dates to send out. This time we took summer photos in the middle of a field and in a stream and it was so so much fun. From watching the sunset to drinking Prosecco (or wearing it trying to do funny photos , thank goodness for wet wipes). Amanda made each new photo just as perfect as our last ones.. next stop wedding day !
Our wedding day was the absolute best day of my life. From the weather being sunny and 70 to my amazing bridal group and hair and make up artist to the venue but my photographer and her gang was the best I could ever ask for. Amanda showed up with her assistant and I just felt like she was part of the group. She kept me calm and reassured me today is going to be perfect and was she RIGHT! From the fun photos in the hotel , to walking to the “first look” with my girl ( thanks for helping my garter stay up Amanda !!), to when we took photos at the venue before everyone arrived to the actually ceremony , cocktail hour and reception, Amanda is the best photographer/ hype woman any bride could ask for .
We got a few sneak peeks within a week and it made me so eager to receive the rest but I knew we had to wait a little bit since so many photos were taken .
When we received the “final” album we were blown away.
Flash me photography captured the purest moments at the wedding, me crying , the groom crying to the guest crying at our ceremony, to my amazing “squad” shot, to the amazing dance moves on the floor and then our final photo of us with our photographer. If anyone needs a photographer Amanda is your number one choice!
She is with you every step of the way and will do check ins to see if you need any help or just some pep talk she is there ! And when you get your sneak peeks and final albums you WILL NOT be disappointed.
